Volta Chair
The Volta Chair pushes the limitations of steam-bent construction. The continuous bend is produced by steaming and bending green, fast-growing Ash over a mould before drying. This achieves a robust, flexible cantilevered form with dynamic support, celebrating the natural structural capacity of the timber.
